Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has heaped praise on Tyrell Malacia.
The Netherlands left-back, signed from Feyenoord this month, was impressive in United's friendly win over Crystal Palace in Melbourne on Tuesday.
And Lindelof was delighted with the performance of his new teammate.
"He is looking really good," Lindelof told MUTV of Malacia. "I've talked to him a little bit, and he seems like a great guy. I think he's going to fit right in with the squad with all of the guys.
"I'm looking forward to training with him more and working with him, but he is looking really, really good."
On preseason as a whole, Lindelof added: 'It was great to have some time off over the summer and of course when I came back I felt fresh and ready and yeah it's been feeling good.
"Training has been very good. I think we have stepped up a lot and it's hard, like it should be in pre-season. And he [Erik ten Hag] demands a lot and I think it's been absolutely great, so yeah, a pleasure.
"Everyone is looking forward to the new season and we are doing everything we can to prepare the best we can for that game and for the rest of the season."
