The Portugal fullback is interesting Barcelona this season as his contract runs down.
However, ESPN says Dalot's deal carries a 12 month option and United intend to trigger it.
Barca are keen on Dalot after failing to sign Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta last summer.
The defender is now United manager Erik ten Hag's first-choice right-back.
