Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta insists they want to keep hold of Milan Skriniar.
Marotta says talks have long been underway over a new contract with the defender.
Before last night's 3-3 draw at Champions League opponents Barcelona, Marotta said: "If his will is the same as ours, I think there will be an extension.
"We're talking about something for many years.
"From an economic point of view we want to come to a sensible conclusion."
