Manchester United have opted against appealing the red card given to Casemiro on Sunday.
The Red Devils had to play the second half of their 0-0 draw with Southampton with ten men after the Brazilian got his marching orders.
Despite United feeling that Casemiro was unlucky to get a straight red for a reckless tackle on Carlos Alcaraz, they have chosen not to file an official appeal.
The Daily Mail has reported that United believe they would be unsuccessful with any such attempt.
The Brazilian will miss the next four domestic matches as a result of his second red card this season.
He misses the FA Cup tie versus Fulham as well as league games against Newcastle, Brentford and Everton.
