Manchester United have issued Frenkie de Jong with an end of week ultimatum.
Sport says United have informed De Jong and Barcelona they will pull out of a deal agreed if the player continues to refuse to leave the Nou Camp.
United have told De Jong's agents they will pull out of negotiations and turn elsewhere if an agreement cannot be reached by the weekend.
United and Barca have already settled on a fee rising to €85m for the midfielder.
However, the Dutchman is stalling on the move as he doesn't want to give up the outstanding wages owed after deferring a percentage of his wages for the past two seasons.
