Manchester United should not worry about Manchester City and their Treble possibilities.

That is the view of midfielder Christian Eriksen, who wants his teammates to focus on the rest of their season.

United still have to win games to qualify for next season's Champions League, while they can beat City in the FA Cup final in early June.

"First they [City] need to win the two other ones which are not in our hands," Eriksen told The Telegraph.

"But I'm sure we will do what we can. So if we will get our trophy, then it doesn't matter what they get.

"Yeah, it was difficult. I had a very good time there, and I will always be grateful to Brentford and Thomas Frank for giving me the chance to come back and be their footballer," he added on leaving Brentford for United in the summer.

"But also, I told Thomas from the start that if something more exciting comes that I could see myself at a top level that I would go for it. And for me, luckily United came in and that was really it."
