Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is set to see his contract doubled.
The Daily Star says Mainoo is due the pay-rise after three appearances for the first team this week.
His breakthrough has earned a major pay hike, even though he is not signing a new contract. A clause in his current deal allows for a 100 percent pay rise once he becomes a first team regular.
The midfielder signed that contract, which sees him earn a wage of 10,000-a-week, earlier this year and runs until the summer of 2026.
He is now close to seeing that increased to 20,000-a-week as he becomes a permanent member of the senior squad.
