Manchester United investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe has given the green light to make a sweeping change to the club's medical team.
The Red Devils have tasked doctor Gary O'Driscoll, the club's head of sports medicine, with reviewing the medical setup.
Per The Mirror, Ratcliffe wants to ensure United are at the very top end where sports science is concerned.
O'Driscoll was brought in from Arsenal over the summer to carry out a review of United's injury record.
However, the matter appears to have become worse this season, with several key players being out for months at a time.
United have already seen the departure of a physio from the first team set-up, which was said to be amicable.
