Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has accepted an FA improper conduct charge for smashing a young supporter's phone during a game last April against Everton.

The Red Devils forward was finally charged by the Football Association related to the incident from last term.

He will now accept the charge, as Ronaldo wants to avoid any possible match ban.

United boss Erik ten Hag initially said Ronaldo would not accept the charge, but he meant to say that he would not accept a game ban.

Per the Daily Mail, Ronaldo will accept the charge to lessen his punishment.

United are busy preparing for their Europa League game against Omonia on Thursday.
