- Manchester United have released Jadon Sancho on a free transfer, five years after his £73m signing, following a costly spell.
- Sancho, who made 83 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists, remains the club's fourth-most expensive signing.
- His departure follows loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and Aston Villa, and he has only made one appearance for United – at the 2024 Community Shield – since August 2023.
- Casemiro, a £63m signing from Real Madrid, has also confirmed his departure after four years, during which he scored 26 goals in 160 games.
- Left-back Tyrell Malacia, a £12m acquisition, is also leaving on a free transfer, having made only 11 appearances in his last three seasons.
