
MANILA, Philippines — The city of Manila announced on Monday that P155.04 million in allowances and subsidies for teachers, students, public safety personnel, and the law enforcement sector will be released this week.
Mayor Isko Moreno, during the flag-raising ceremony, said that P69.8 million will go to 21,633 public school teachers, covering their October to December 2025 allowances.
In addition, the city will also release P9.68 million in allowances for 6,452 Grade 12 public school students, also covering the last quarter of 2025.
Meanwhile, P26.03 million in allowances will go to 8,675 students of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, covering October to December 2025, and P11.10 million for 5,551 students of the Universidad de Manila, covering October to November 2025.
Uniformed personnel will also receive allowances, including P26.03 million for officers of the Manila Police District and P2.76 million for the Manila Fire District.
Additional allocations include P150,000 for beneficiaries of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and P3 million for 400 personnel of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
