THROUGH the efforts of Digiplus, Gamezone, BingoPlus, and ArenaPlus, nine mobile games featuring Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao were announced Wednesday at the Shangri-La The Fort, Manila Bonifacio Hall in Taguig.
Superace Pacquiao, Gates of Manny, Pacman’s Color Game, Wild Bounty Pacquiao, Pacquiao Fortune, Fortune Gems Pacquiao, Pacman’s Bingo Room, Manny Punch and Boxing King Pacquiao can now be played through the Gamezone app.
Pacquiao was also introduced as Digiplus and Gamezone ambassador at the venue.
“Today I stand before you not just as Manny Pacquiao but as your ambassador, someone who believes in the vision and purpose of Digiplus,” said Pacquiao.
“For me being an ambassador is not just about representing a brand, it’s also about representing values, trust, integrity, and making sure that whatever we do, we do it with the intention of helping others.”
Pacquiao’s new e-wallet “Manny Pay,” was also announced as a partner of Digiplus and Gamezone.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao said he has no plans, yet, to run for any government position in the 2028 national elections.
The former senator and congressman is focusing on his businesses and rejuvenated boxing career.
“Focus ako sa business, wala pa (I’m focused on my business, I have no plans to run for any government position yet),” said Pacquiao.
Pacquiao ran for senator last year but did not make the top 12, ranking 18th in votes.
The 47-year-old boxer started his political career as representative of Saranggani in 2010.
Pacquiao then became a senator, serving his term from 2016 to 2022.
He ran for president in the 2022 elections but lost.
Pacquiao is preparing for his rematch against Floyd Mayweather Jr. this September, a bout that took 11 years to materialize.
He said it is not too late.
“Hindi naman, ‘di naman tayo nagpabaya sa kundisyon natin (It’s not late yet because I made sure to stay in shape),” he added.
