TAWAU: The issue of electricity supply disruption affecting 654 individuals, including students at Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) Sandakan, due to unpaid bills, necessitates intervention from the State Government.

Muafakat Mara Malaysia Exco (Borneo Affairs), Aldam Abdullah (pic), said this matter requires government attention as it impacts the learning environment and comfort of students, educators and administrative staff.

He said without an immediate resolution, MRSM fears electricity cuts could happen at any time due to repeated and long-standing arrears.
