Former Real Madrid midfielder Clarence Seedorf has taken aim at Barcelona coach Xavi.

Seedorf was unimpressed by Xavi's complaints to the match officials during last night's 3-3 draw with Champions League opponents Inter Milan.

He said, "Barcelona blame the referee? They have a habit of putting pressure on the referee, Xavi should show a little more respect. As a player, he did the same.

"It's part of their culture, so I'm not surprised. They complain about everything. But it doesn't work so well in the VAR era."

Inter Champions League winner Diego Milito also said: "It is true that Barcelona systematically protested on and off the pitch. I still remember their defenders who were once willing to sprint forty metres to the end of the field to protest to the referee."
