Olympique Marseille president Pablo Longoria has asked Arsenal for Nicolas Pepe.
The Ivory Coast striker has been put up for sale by the Gunners at a starting price of £25m.
Longoria was in London last week to meet with Arsenal about taking left-back Nuno Tavares on-loan.
Le 10 Sport says he has also asked about Pepe, though cannot afford to meet Arsenal's valuation.
For the moment, Sevilla are favourites to sign the attacker.
