The veteran striker has agreed a three-year deal with Olympique Marseille. However, it is dependent on Chelsea granting him a free transfer.
Aubameyang has already passed his Marseille medical.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting the move will be confirmed once documents regarding the termination of his Chelsea contract are signed and counter-signed.
Aubameyang joined the Blues last August from Barcelona.
