Martin Lewis has issued advice for those worried about their energy bills amid fears the war in the Middle East will spark another cost-of-living crisis in the UK, with fuel prices set to soar.

It comes after the price of oil soared above $100 a barrel for the first time since 2022, and Rachel Reeves warned that the conflict is “likely to put upward pressure on inflation” over the coming months.

The Money Saving Expert Founder gave advice to those on a price cap tariff during an appearance on BBC Newsnight on Monday (9 March).
