SIPITANG: Mass circumcision ceremonies for children can ease the burden of parents financially and in time, said Sindumin assemblyman Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob.

“If such ceremony is held individually, it would be costly, but if conducted en masse, it would be more efficient and cost-saving,” he said during a mass circumcision ceremony, in Kampung Guruh-Guruh, recently.

To this end, he supported such programme, especially when it is conducted during school holidays where the children can have a good rest after the circumcision.

Yusof also said such programmes could heighten the sense of unity within the community.
