The storm, driven by powerful winds, blocked out the sky and forced residents to stay indoors as dust clouds blanketed the area.

Riyadh, the Kingdom’s capital, was also impacted. Dust clouds swept across the city, obscuring the skyline and disrupting daily life as people sought shelter indoors.

The Saudi National Centre of Meteorology issued advance warnings, particularly for Al Qassim, where visibility dropped to near-zero.

Authorities advised motorists to drive with extreme caution, while highway patrols were deployed to manage the hazardous conditions on key roads.
