  • Rory McIlroy held his nerve to successfully defend his Masters title on Sunday evening.
  • McIlroy entered the final round in a share of the lead with Cameron Young.
  • He was able to pull clear of Young, but was put under pressure by Justin Rose and then world No 1 Scottie Scheffler.
  • However, McIlroy just had enough left in the tank to finish one shot clear of Scheffler on 12-under-par.
  • McIlroy becomes just the fourth player to defend his Masters title after Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods.
