The defender has settled on terms on a five-year deal, says the Express & Star.
Wolves rejected a 30m offer from Napoli for Kilman earlier this summer.
An announcement over Kilman's new deal is expected this week.
Wolves open their Premier League season on Monday against Manchester United.
