Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) President Datuk Seri Maximus J. Ongkili in his four terms as a Federal Cabinet member did nothing about the clandestine issuing of Malaysian ICs to illegal immigrants (PTIs) although he knew it has been going on for decades.
A social activist who has been vocal on the issue, Dr Chong Eng Leong said people know who the party was that committed such illegal act but Maximus was shy to name it.
In fact, he said, Maximus stressed that action needed to be taken against the concerned party.
