KUALA LUMPUR: The Ministry of Communications has asked the Malaysian Media Council to lead discussions with industry players on a potential work-from-home policy for media practitioners.

He added that any further considerations would then be forwarded to the Public Service director-general and communicated to the Cabinet and the ministry.
Fahmi spoke after witnessing the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and the Securities Commission Malaysia.
The agreement aims to strengthen enforcement cooperation in combating and preventing scams.
Also present at the event were Deputy Finance Minister Liew Chin Tong, MCMC chairman Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din and SC chairman Datuk Mohammad Faiz Azmi.
