Meet Delhi-based auto-rickshaw driver Mohammad Aslam, popularly known on Instagram as “Aslam Rickshawwala," who has become an internet sensation after videos of him fluently speaking multiple foreign languages, including Spanish and English, went viral.
One of his most popular videos, which has garnered over a million views, shows him interacting with Spanish tourists and speaking fluent Spanish with them.
In the clip, Aslam introduces himself, saying, “So, guys, how are you? I am Aslam Rickshawwala. Today, my clients are Spanish." He then continues conversing with the tourists in fluent Spanish while recording the interaction.
During the conversation, Aslam appears to ask the tourists about their experience in India, prompting one of them to respond in Hindi, “Bahut accha, bahut accha."
Aslam’s Instagram account, which has around 90,000 followers, features several videos of him engaging with tourists from different countries.
He has been driving an auto-rickshaw in Delhi for more than 17 years.
