Following groups like Allday Project and XngHan & Xoul, the K-pop industry is seeing another debut this year. This time, it’s Cortis, a five-piece boy band from BigHit Entertainment.
This marks the music agency’s first boy group, six years since Tomorrow X Together made their debut back in 2019. Making an impression with their new light-hearted tune GO! (2025), Cortis dropped the music video for it on 10 August.
They have also dropped another single, What You Want, before their first EP, Color Outside The Lines, in September. The group’s name is also short for “Color Outside The Lines”, a premonitive nod to the band’s vision for the future.
Below, get to know the members of the new K-pop boy band—Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon and Keonho.
Martin

Martin is the band’s leader. Born Martin Edwards Park, he is Canadian-Korean and also the tallest member in the group. Far more than just a newly-minted idol, he has also previously produced tracks for senior groups like TXT, ILLIT, Le Sserafim, Enhypen and more.
James

Born in Hong Kong, James is the oldest member of Cortis. He is Thai-Chinese, so it’s no surprise that he can speak Thai, Chinese, Korean, and English. He also previously trained under the trainee group Trainee A in BigHit Music.
Juhoon

A child model since young, it’s no wonder that Juhoon is serving visuals. A 08-liner, he only recently joined BigHit Music as a trainee sometime last year. He also dabbles in basketball and played the sport in a youth team.
Seonghyeon

Seonghyeon is one of the members who trained the most in the group, having trained under the agency for five years. Born in 2009, he is one of the two youngest members in the group alongside bandmate Keonho.

Having joined BigHit Music in 2021, Keonho also trained with the agency for a number of years. Outside of music, he does swimming, which he continued till sixth grade and held a top rank in the sport too.
