Meet the rescued bull named in honour of Sir David Attenborough ahead of his 100th birthday

Watch as a bull named after Sir David Attenborough in honour of his 100th birthday enjoys the sunshine as he roams around a sanctuary.

Animal charity PETA has named a “wise” bull after the legendary BBC nature broadcaster ahead of his milestone birthday.

The bull, named Sir Attenbullock, will be mentioned in a letter sent to Sir David by Peta founder Ingrid Newkirk.

In her letter, Ms Newkirk writes that the bull is "strong, yet gentle", qualities which it shares with Sir David.

Sir Attenbullock was rescued through Peta India’s Delhi mechanisation project, an initiative that replaces animal-drawn carts with electric vehicles so that overworked animals can retire.
