- It comes during the Duke, Prince Harry, and Duchess’s first visit to Australia since their royal tour in 2018.
- Meghan received a loud applause from the show's judges and contestants as she walked into the kitchen.
- Introducing the Duchess on Wednesday (15 April), presenter Poh Ling Yeow said, "We've had MasterChef royalty in the kitchen before, but no one like this."
- The couple’s trip is in a private capacity, after they stepped back as working members of the royal family in 2020.
