The Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle brand has published hosting advice recommending that people have "as much prepped as possible before guests arrive".
Meghan, who relocated to the UK alongside Prince Harry at the end of August, also advises holding back one "simple task for the end".
An Instagram upload titled "Meghan’s Hosting Notes" from her firm As Ever suggested this be: "Something you can finish in the kitchen while everyone settles in."
The post noted: "A little preparation goes a long way toward making hosting feel effortless."
The guidance appeared alongside an image of Meghan fastening a white apron around her waist.
Her Netflix show With Love, Meghan, offering hosting, cooking and crafting tips, was panned by critics on its 2025 launch alongside As Ever, which sells jam and flower sprinkles.
Similarly, the Princess of Wales’s sister, the then Pippa Middleton, published entertaining book Celebrate, which was mocked for over-simplistic advice and inspired a parody social media account.
After welcoming close friend Kelly McKee Zajfen to the UK earlier this month, Ms McKee Zajfen posted that Meghan enjoyed a "loving" reception that was "beautiful to witness".
Over the weekend, Harry opened up on being back in the UK with Meghan, stating it is "great" to return to Britain, and that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are currently "happy in school".
Speaking to Canadian broadcaster CTV following a skydive outside Toronto — performed to fulfill a promise to a 102-year-old Second World War veteran and raise awareness for military charities — Harry shared an update following the family's return on August 26.
Discussing Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, the duke remarked: "The kids are happy in school and it gives me a chance to really focus on Invictus in Birmingham. The games are in July next year."
Reflecting further on his arrival, Harry added: "It’s been great. It’s been great to be back on British soil. It’s great to be back on terra firma, actually!"
When questioned by CTV regarding the motivation behind their move back from California, where they had established a life after stepping down as working royals in 2020 for personal and financial reasons, Harry offered "lots of reasons" without expanding, explaining he did not wish to overshadow his fundraising work for Canadian veterans.
