This Morning paid tribute to Mel Schilling, the Married At First Sight (MAFS) relationship coach who has died aged 54 following a cancer diagnosis.

The MAFS star died on Tuesday, 24 March, according to a family statement shared on her Instagram account.

ITV hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley announced Schilling's death on Tuesday's show, paying tribute to the "bright and colourful" presenter.

Schilling, known for offering relationship advice on the Channel 4 reality show, said earlier in March that her cancer had spread, including to the left side of her brain, and that there was “nothing further” doctors could do to treat it.
