KUALA LUMPUR - Merlimau assemblyman Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh is leading the race for Umno Youth chief post as of 6.15pm with seven votes.
Inching closer are his contenders; Mohd Shahar Abdullah with four votes, Arman Azha Abu Hanifah, and Tuan Meor Hassan Mat Ali.
Meanwhile, for the Youth Deputy Chief post, Tanah Merah MP Ikmal Hazlan Ikmal Hisham is currently in the lead among four other candidates with six votes.
Mohd Hairi Mad Shah followed closely with three votes, then Mohd Nazifuddin Mohd Najib took the third place, and Muhammad Farhan Khairuddi came in the fourth place.
