KUALA LUMPUR - The memorandum to condemn United States (US)’ support for Israel’s genocidal attacks on Palestine will be submitted to the US Embassy, here, on Monday.
Pas Youth chief Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden said the memorandum was not submitted during its Solidarity with Palestine gathering today as the embassy was closed for the weekends, hence it would submit the memorandum during working days.
"We will deliver the memorandum on a smaller (group) scale by hand to the embassy," he said during the press conference after the Pas Palestine Solidarity 10K gathering.
He added that the memorandum would state the stance of the Perikatan Nasional and Pas Parliament members.
"The memorandum would among others, consist of criticising Israel and supporting Palestine," he said.
Earlier, thousands of participants gathered to show their solidarity for Palestine, amid campaign bombing by Israel on the Gaza land.
