Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo can see himself playing for Jose Mourinho at AS Roma next year.
However, the Chelsea option is a long shot.
That's according to CBS's Ben Jacobs, who is reporting: "Sources close to (agent) Jorge Mendes see a path to Roma next season, especially if they qualify for the Champions League, and also to MLS. But they are less confident that they can see him at Chelsea, even on a short-term contract.
"What Mendes hopes for though is that Boehly stays on as sporting director until January and that he has more of a say, especially if he has more time to assess the market.
"But sources within Chelsea maintain that Ronaldo will never be signed without Graham Potter's 'full buy-in'."
