
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah West Coast Smart Consumer Association welcomes the implementation of Menu Rahmah, but wants the Government to also enforce ceiling prices on raw items.
Its President David Chan said the Government is certainly aware that traders are under pressure due to the sharp rise in the price of raw materials these days to continue their restaurant business.
“The ceiling price of raw materials must be stabilised, then traders will not be burdened with the high cost of producing raw materials before they are cooked and made into a menu for sale.
