SANDAKAN: The Sabah Indian Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DPPIMS) Sandakan branch welcomed the implementation of the Rahmah Menu programme, saying it would help the B40 group get balanced meals at RM5 each, which is lower than the normal price.
DPPIMS Chairman Aslam Razik said although the traders also faced rising costs in terms of raw materials, rental, wages and others, it was important for them to help the target group.
Aslam, who attended a meeting with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living in Kota Kinabalu recently regarding the implementation of the programme, said this when met at Nasi Kandar Al Falah Restaurant in Mydin Besar Supermarket, here.
