
LABUAN: A dozen Indian-Muslim (Mamak) restaurant here took the lead in offering “Menu Rahmah” but with a difference - roti canai, fried mee with egg and rice with chicken. They also hoped the Ministry would consider providing a subsidy.
Vice Chairman of the Labuan Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohd Tajudeen Mohammad, said with a different menu the choice will be wider for the B40 category meals. They will find it attractive and so well patronised.
He added that Indian-Muslims restaurants had always supported any efforts by the government to help lower the cost of living.
