Kota Kinabalu: The proposed Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) merger will reduce and at the same time unite the plethora of political parties in Sabah.
Star President Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said local parties must reflect unity towards the ultimate objective of the two multiracial parties.
“Strengthening relationships, understanding, finding common objectives and concerns are things that we must thresh out before moving on to the next stage.
“We are open to other political parties to join because Sabah is a State with one of the most political parties.
