Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud was happy to be on the scoresheet for France's victory over Moldova.
Giroud struck from the spot in the 2-1 Euro qualifying win.
Afterwards, the veteran said: "I was keen to shoot because I tried a lot tonight (Thursday).
"We missed a bit of realism and a bit of success.
"I was very eager to be able to give the victory and that was the case from the penalty obtained by Lucas (Digne)."
