Former Real Madrid sporting director Pedja Mijatovic has revealed a recent chat with UEFA president Alexander Ceferin.
Ceferin was re-elected as president of UEFA this week to 2027.
"We touched on many topics, we also touched on this," Mijatovic told El Larguero, referring to Barcelona's Negreira cas.
"There is no one that likes football that talks about this. I personally don't understand how a club as great as FC Barcelona could do something like this. Every day I understand it less,."
Asked if Ceferin is concerned about the matter, he replied. "Of course he's worried. It's a historic, a big team. They still don't know what decision to make, I think they still lack information, but the seriousness of the matter is tremendous."
