Senior Fire Officer II Asmiza Zaini said the victims identified as Wan Nain Wan Abd Kadir, 44 and Nik Norzi Abd Rahman, 48 were found in weak condition 700 metres from Sungai Telor, at 7.40 am.
"Initial treatment was given by the Emergency Services Assistance Unit (EMRS) team on Wan Nain who suffered minor injuries on his leg before both victims were handed over to the police for further action,” he said in a statement today.
Asmiza said seven firefighters were rushed to the scene after the department received an emergency call on their missing at 9.24 pm yesterday.
