TAMPARULI: A 94-year-old man who was reported missing was found safe on Sunday.

Sungkit Akup was reported to have yet to return home in Kampung Kionsom Baru here after leaving at 5.55pm on Saturday.

District Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Chief Mohamad Nor Amit said they received an emergency call regarding the incident at 3:02 pm on Sunday.

A team of firefighters then went to the scene and launched a search and rescue (SAR) operation.
