Crystal Palace fullback Tyrick Mitchell is happy acting as a mentor to the club's youngsters.
Mitchell is an academy graduate himself and is always available for advice.
He told Palace's website: "My aim is just to improve from last season, that's the main thing. [I want to] play as many games with Palace and just improve as a team and a player.
"You always try to give them – obviously I haven't been here for long enough in the first-team – but you always try to give them little pointers that helped you when you were coming up.
"It's a much younger group now, so you can relate with everyone.
"[My advice is] just consistency, keep doing the things that got you there and around the first-team, training with the first-team, in the first place. Continue doing that and you'll be there."
