On top of that, this marks a historical and significant moment for the team as well as Malaysia as the Red Giants have become the first ever e-sports team from Malaysia to win the world championships in MLBB. Red Giants jungler, the 18-year-old Haqqullah Ahmad Shahrul Zaman, better known as Sekysss, was named as the most valuable player (MVP) during the final.

During a post-match interview with local English daily, NST, the proud 18-year-old shared that it still feels surreal. He said,

“I feel like I am dreaming right now! This is my first international tournament and we emerged as champions!”

Not forgetting their supporters, the team also thanked them for their unwavering support, proving the nay-sayers wrong, after a prediction of 4-0 was made. Following their journey to victory, the Red Giants defeated NIP Flash from Singapore with a score of 3-0 during the semi-finals.
