MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the expanded number coding scheme will be suspended on Thursday, April 9, in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor).
The MMDA said the number coding scheme was automatically suspended during regular and special non-working holidays.
This means motorists in Metro Manila may use the roads without number coding restrictions for the holiday.
In its advisory released Wednesday, the agency urged the public to plan their trips carefully to avoid inconvenience and to drive safely.
