MoAgent Debuts to Enhance the Family Companion Experience
The family-themed stage play Mobo Takes Charge brought children’s curiosity and older family members’ desire for interaction to life. Yvette Gao, Product Director at AiMOGA Robotics, introduced Mobo’s design and capabilities. Standing 0.9 meters tall, Mobo features rounded contours and soft materials designed to create a more approachable presence. Its 22 degrees of freedom support walking and expressive body movements.

Designed around the needs of three generations under one roof, Mobo offers object recognition and Q&A, storytelling, and interactive English learning for children. For older family members, it provides everyday conversation and reminders for user-defined tasks. By recognizing family members and retaining long-term memories, Mobo can build on previous interactions and maintain more continuous conversations. Supporting interaction in more than 20 languages, it aims to deliver companionship that becomes more personalized and engaging over time.

During the technology presentation, Peng Xia, Executive Vice President of AiMOGA Robotics, explained that Mobo integrates multiple technical layers to enable perception, decision-making, execution, and feedback. Its spatial perception layer interprets the surrounding environment, while the interaction layer processes language, gestures, and other forms of communication. The execution layer controls physical movement, and the decision-making and cognition layers coordinate tasks and manage memory.
Spatial memory combines real-time perception with historical information to support object retrieval and task execution. Social navigation enables Mobo to recognize pedestrian trajectories and interaction spaces, allowing it to slow down proactively, yield to people, and navigate around them smoothly. Multimodal interaction and integrated motion-control technologies coordinate language, facial expressions, and movements to make communication more natural and actions more stable.
Powered by MoAgent, AiMOGA’s embodied intelligence agent, Mobo adopts a dual-brain architecture that combines long-term planning with rapid responses to changing situations. A world model enables it to simulate changes in the physical environment and verify task outcomes. In a workplace demonstration, Mobo handled meeting notifications and inspection tasks, responded to an unexpected question, and then resumed its original work. The capabilities presented included parallel execution of up to 16 tasks and interruption response times of less than 0.2 seconds, supporting multitasking and task resumption after interruptions.
For long-term companionship, Mobo organizes memories into different layers, including facts, experiences, and learned patterns. Face ID links memories to individual users, helping ensure that personalized information is accessed in the appropriate context. MogaCloud supports remote task assignment and over-the-air (OTA) updates. Data eligible for cloud processing undergoes on-device de-identification and security checks before being used for cloud-based learning and validation, helping continuously improve the system’s capabilities.

“Give Mobo a task, and it can understand what needs to be done, move the task forward, and report the result,” said Xia Peng. AiMOGA aims to combine these technologies to build an intelligent companion that understands users, gets things done, remembers important information, and continues to grow in capability.
Global Pre-Orders Open as AiMOGA Invites Users to Shape the Experience
Following the product and technology launches, Bin Zhang, Executive Vice President of AiMOGA Domestic Sales Company, and Xiantian Shen, Deputy General Manager of AiMOGA Overseas Sales Company, introduced the launch pre-order benefits and service arrangements for customers in China and overseas.
Since its first public appearance at the World Robot Conference in August 2026, Mobo has attracted interest from more than 10,000 prospective users worldwide. Throughout its development, users have shared suggestions for product improvements and ideas for technical optimization, creating an important link between real family needs and product development.
At the event, 35 users were appointed as Mobo’s first Global User Experience Officers. Under the program, each user will receive 1 year of complimentary use of Mobo. Guibing Zhang, Executive Vice President of Chery Auto and General Manager of AiMOGA Robotics, and Peng Xia presented certificates of recognition to the first group of ambassadors, inviting them to participate in the product’s ongoing development.

Guests then jointly launched Mobo’s global pre-order program. The first group of Global User Experience officers will provide feedback on everyday family conversations, reminders, task execution, and long-term companionship. AiMOGA will also continue refining interaction methods, product functionality, and service arrangements in response to household needs and usage habits across different markets, incorporating feedback from real-world use into future product iterations.
Car-Robot Synergy Lays the Foundation for Scalable Robot Commercialization
Following the launch of Mobo’s global pre-orders, Guibing Zhang delivered a keynote address. Moving beyond the launch of a single family companion product, his presentation explored how robots can transition from development to large-scale deployment. He outlined AiMOGA’s industrialization strategy across four key areas: research and validation, components and cost optimization, sales and rental platforms, and talent development.

“Scenario-driven product planning is the path to industrialization across our entire product portfolio,” said Guibing Zhang. He emphasized that real-world application needs shape both product development and technological progress. AiMOGA is starting with consumer-friendly companion robots and expanding into public services and enterprise applications, with the goal of bringing robots into more homes over time. Its technology roadmap spans three stages: motion planning and control, AI agents, and Physical AI. Through real-world deployment, AiMOGA aims to validate and refine its technologies while steadily advancing robotic autonomy and intelligence.
To strengthen R&D and validation, AiMOGA has adopted a collaborative model built around a “Platform Institute + Scenario Institute.” The Platform Institute focuses on six core areas: motion control, intelligent perception, software development, electronic hardware, mechanical structures, and brain-computer interfaces. The Scenario Institute works to address application needs across public security, industry, consumer markets, education, and other sectors, using testing across diverse scenarios to validate technologies. AiMOGA is also developing flexible pilot-production modules and validation facilities for different robot forms, including bipedal, quadruped, and wheeled platforms, laying the groundwork for the transition from research prototypes to mass deployment.
“Applying the cost discipline of automotive manufacturing is essential to building robots that can be mass-produced, delivered, and operated profitably,” Zhang emphasized. AiMOGA aims to establish cost competitiveness from the architectural design stage by adopting platform-based architectures and standardized components to increase component reuse, leveraging the combined purchasing scale of its automotive and robotics businesses, and advancing the in-house integration of key components. The company also plans to build an ecosystem of upstream and downstream suppliers around complete robot systems, using orders to drive production scale and scale to improve cost efficiency in a sustainable cycle.
On the commercial and service side, AiMOGA plans to establish an initial network of 300 global experience centers. The company will empower ecosystem partners in four key areas: solutions, digital marketing, financial and insurance services, and service support. Together, these efforts will help build a global channel network connecting product experiences with sales and after-sales services. Chery’s established global sales network, advanced manufacturing capabilities, quality management systems, and supply chain resources will work in tandem with AiMOGA’s robotics business to support broader market adoption.
