KK Blossoms School, Solan, organised an impressive MUN (Model United Nations) mock session for students of classes VI to VIII. The session aimed to encourage students to engage in discussions on contemporary global issues while enhancing their communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills. During the mock session, students actively participated in meaningful debates on important topics such as “Education as a fundamental human right” and “How plastic pollution can be managed”. Representing different countries, the students confidently presented their viewpoints and adopted a solution-oriented approach throughout the discussions. The session was an important continuation of the training programme conducted earlier under the guidance of renowned skill trainer Rahul Menon. Through his mentorship, students not only gained a deeper understanding of global issues but also developed the confidence to express their ideas effectively. The success of the programme is credited to the dedicated leadership and guidance of Principal Samiksha Chaudhary, under whose supervision such academic initiatives continue to flourish. The support and efforts of the teachers and school administration were also highly commendable, as they provided students with a platform to showcase and enhance their talents.
