The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released a new AI-powered Punjabi campaign song titled ‘Modi da Punjab’, intensifying its outreach efforts in the state in the run-up to the 2027 Assembly elections.
The track, developed using artificial intelligence to blend traditional Punjabi folk rhythms with modern beats, quickly gained traction across social media.
Its powerful chorus declares “BJP di sarkar is waar”, presenting the party as the catalyst for meaningful change and renewal in Punjab. The BJP positioned the song as a direct tribute to the enduring spirit of the land of the five rivers.
Notably, the only national BJP leaders prominently featured are Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, shown walking through villages and lush fields, engaging warmly with the people.
BJP leader and social media personality Tajinder Bagga posted the video on Saturday on his X account.
The music video features visuals of golden ripe wheat fields swaying under the sun, interspersed with vibrant bhangra dancers moving to the thumping beats of dhol in colorful traditional attire. It salutes the legendary courage and resilience of Punjabis, portraying farmers and youth as pillars of strength.
In its lyrics, the song outlines an ambitious vision — driving rapid progress, generating abundant employment for the youth, introducing modern and scientific agriculture practices, and delivering a firm crackdown on the drug menace and gangster culture that have affected communities.
