
THE Ministry of Finance (MOF) has announced that retail prices for all major petroleum products will remain unchanged for the week of 19 to 25 February 2026, citing the continued application of the Automatic Pricing Mechanism.
In a statement issued in Putrajaya on 18 February, the ministry confirmed that RON97 petrol will remain at RM3.10 per litre, while unsubsidised RON95 petrol stays at RM2.54 per litre. Subsidised RON95 under the BUDI95 scheme will continue to be priced at RM1.99 per litre.
Diesel prices are likewise unchanged, with the rate in Peninsular Malaysia maintained at RM2.99 per litre. In Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan, diesel will remain at RM2.15 per litre.
The ministry stated that the weekly pricing structure is determined according to the Automatic Pricing Mechanism formula. It added that the government would continue to monitor fluctuations in global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to safeguard public welfare.
