THE Ministry of Health (MOH) has denied claims that the Health Clinic facility is no longer accepting walk-in patients, or direct visits, as has been circulating on social media.

The MOH said that although the appointment system is the main method, space for walk-in patients is still provided, especially for emergency cases, the elderly and those with technology access constraints.

"Patients without an appointment will still be served but must go through an assessment process first," the ministry said in a post on its Facebook page as reported by Bernama.

According to the MOH, walk-in services will continue to ensure that every level of society receives fair and equitable access to treatment.

"MOH fully understands that access to technology is different for each individual," the post said. – January 1, 2026
