MOH mobile health clinics to bring free services directly to people

THE Ministry of Health (MOH) has brought essential healthcare services directly to the public through the deployment of mobile clinics in conjunction with the National Unity Week 2026 celebrations held at the Likas Sports Complex.

According to an official MOH statement released on Facebook, an extensive range of complimentary medical services is being provided to the public throughout the four-day event.

The initiative is designed to allow the community to obtain easier access to various healthcare services while simultaneously elevating public awareness regarding personal health management, the statement read.

Minister of Health Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad conducted a site visit to the MOH exhibition booths and mobile units during the event, which is scheduled to run from 11 June until 14 June.

During his visit, Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly thoroughly inspected the mobile operations and engaged directly with medical staff and visitors to obtain immediate feedback on the ground.

The specific facilities and initiatives showcased at the venue include the Wellness on Wheels, WoW, programme, general health screening counters, the Peka B40 scheme, a mobile dental clinic, and promotional counters highlighting enrolment opportunities for the Ministry of Health Training Institute (ILKKM).

The National Unity Week 2026 celebrations serve as a central gathering point for various government ministries, departments, and public agencies, functioning to reinforce the spirit of national unity while strengthening relationships between the citizenry and the civil service through diverse interactive exhibitions and community activities. - June 14, 2026
