The moment Jesy Nelson was told about her daughters’ spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) diagnosis has been captured in the singer’s Amazon Prime documentary.

The former Little Mix star, 35, has been followed by cameras for Jesy Nelson: Life Changing, which documents her fight to change UK newborn screening laws.

It comes after her twins, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, were diagnosed with the rare condition.

A section of the trailer shows the moment Nelson broke down in tears as she opened up on feeling that she will be "heartbroken for the rest of my life.”
